Safeguarding

The Hobbyist is designed to create welcoming, supported tabletop experiences. When working with children and young people, their safety and wellbeing come before the activity itself.

Delivery settings

Safeguarding arrangements are agreed with the organisation or venue responsible for the setting. Hosts follow the relevant safeguarding procedures, boundaries and reporting routes for that delivery environment.

Photography and publicity

Images of children and young people are only intended for public use where appropriate permission is in place. Where permission is not confirmed, identifying details should be removed or the image should not be published.

Raise a concern

If you need to raise a safeguarding concern connected with a Hobbyist activity, contact the responsible venue or organisation through its safeguarding route and, where appropriate, contact The Hobbyist Presents at info@thehobbyistpresents.co.uk.
