We want The Hobbyist website to be usable by as many people as possible, including people using keyboards, screen readers, zoom, high-contrast settings or reduced-motion preferences.

Current approach

The site uses semantic headings, descriptive alternative text, visible keyboard focus, responsive layouts, a skip-to-content link and reduced-motion support for animated elements. Text and controls are designed to retain useful contrast against the site’s parchment and dark-panel palette.

Ongoing improvement

Accessibility is an ongoing responsibility. As new pages and Hub functions are added, testing will continue rather than being treated as a one-off check.
